Dan is a freelance Recording engineer & Mixer, with experience collaborating with established and upcoming artists, producers, directors and content creators - across multiple genres and platforms.
Dan’s expertise extends across various mediums: including mixing, mastering, sync placements, film scores, ADR, VO recording and audio post-production (including sound design and foley recording). Notable achievements include BBC Radio 4, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio airplay.
Alongside studies at BIMM Manchester (2020 - 2023), Dan won the university’s 2022 Remix Competition, earning a 1-1 Masterclass with renown Producer & Engineer, Rick Snoman at Altar Studios. Rick's impressive discography includes music icons like Britney Spears, The Chainsmokers, The Stone Roses, and Justin Timberlake.
Dan currently works as a freelance Mixer & Recording engineer at Oscillate Recordings, where he has worked with brands such as Northern Rail, Modux and the NFL.
Our studio, located in Manchester's thriving Northern Quarter, comes equipped with Adam monitoring, UA hardware, industry standard plug-ins and a Neumann U87 AI. Remote services are also available - from an additional, off-site studio equipped with Adam monitoring, Solid State Logic hardware, industry standard plug-ins and an Akai GXC-46D tape machine.
